Initial Research On Lumbriculus Variegatus

In the Biology class that I'm taking for the summer we are conducting an experiment on lumbriculus variegatus or, as it is more commonly known, the california blackworm. We choose a specific substance, such as a drug, and introduce the annelid (worm) into a small dose (roughly 1ml) of the solution. My lab group has choosen creatine as our substance. We have made a hypothesis, and will test it by measuring the effect that it has on the annelid's pulsation rate. Here is some of my initial research on the subject:
